Hello,
I'm Nefertiris but you can call me Nefer.

About
My work investigates forms that evoke both organic and inorganic matter in continuous repetition and transformation. Although these forms may appear similar, they are never identical—just as a single being is never the same across different moments, positions, and conditions in time, nor as individual entities coexisting within a larger ecosystem.
Organic references emerge as membranes, cells, animals, and vegetal elements, while inorganic forms manifest as waves, bubbles, currents, wind, sound, and spatial dimensions. As expressions of human labor and dukkha—the suffering inherent to existence—these forms are deliberately imperfect.
Together, they reflect the transient state of matter: its fragility, impermanence, and constant transformation into something else. The visual language of the work is constructed from archetypal forms and simple geometries, shaped by optical tension and repetition, suggesting movement, instability, and renewal.
